Amateurs Literary Contest
Age Qualification: 8 - 12 years old
Gender Qualification: none

Details: This contest is only for kids between the age of 8 and 12 years old, so kids, here's your chance! In order to qualify, write a short story (no less than about 200 words, and no more than about 2,000 words) and submit it before the end date stated above. Be sure your story doesn't have any swear words or other naughty things of that sort in it. ;) Your story can be about anything you want! Good luck!

Prize: If you win, your winning story will make it onto the front page of our site! Also, you will get the honor of being interviewed (but only if you want to).


Poet's Stand
Age Qualification: 13+
Gender Qualification: none

Details: Are you a poet? Good! Here's your chance to shine. To qualify, write a poem about an abstract idea (courage, fear, love, hatred, faith, etc.). It shouldn't be longer than about 300 words. No swearing or mature themes, please!

Prize: As always, your poem (if you win) will be posted, make it onto the "editor's picks of the week", as well as a free interview (the interview is optional).



Wisdom Comes With Age
Age Qualification: 35+
Gender Qualification: none

Details: This contest is only for people 35 years old or older! In order to qualify, write a short story (no less than about 200 words, and no more than about 2,000 words) or a poem (no longer than about 300 words) and submit it before the end date stated above. Please, as always, have no mature content in your story or poem. (Words like "damn" are okay, but no actual swear words please.) Good luck!

Prize: If you win, your winning story or poem will make it onto the front page of our site. Also, your poem or story will make it onto the "editor's picks of the week", and you will be interviewed!
